New Dad Steve & His Quest to Beat the 'Dad Bod'
'The One team feel like a family with everyone working hard to achieve results for their clients.'
What was your level of fitness before you started at ONE?
I would say my fitness level before starting at One was below average. Since moving to HK over two years ago I had given up on all sports and exercise.
What was the core problem you wanted to solve?
I was in big danger of having a “Dad bod”. My first baby was due at the end of October, this was my motivation to become healthier.
Did you have any hesitations before starting the program?
I was concerned that I would have no idea how to use any of the equipment or perform any of exercises as I had never really been to a gym before. I had only ever played sport back in the UK.
What results have you got so far from the program?
- My fitness level has greatly improved.
- I feel stronger and healthier.
- Having the before and after pictures shows the visual improvements I was looking for.
- My posture has hugely improved, again before starting One PT I was developing a hunch back.
- What specifically do you like most about the program?
- The program is built around you and your needs.
What are three other benefits of the program?
- Diet advice
- 24/7 support from your PT
Would you recommend training at ONE? If so, why?
100% I would recommend One PT. I already have to a number of friends and even my wife has started at ONE PT to help with her post pregnancy weight loss and she is loving it.
Also... the flexibility of the trainers is amazing, no matter how late or how early you need to train - they are so accommodating.
Anything else you’d like to add?
The One team feel like a family with everyone working hard to achieve results for their clients.
Would very much recommend Nick Seymour, the sessions are challenging but really enjoyable and a good laugh. A great guy, like all of the ladies and gents at One PT.
Without Nicks support and advice I would of likely would of given up and slipped back into Dad Bod!
